Learning in Year 6
The last piece of writing we do in Y6 is our 'Memories of Lydgate'. We remember all the good things about our four years at Junior School and create an autobiographical booklet to take home and keep. We read extracts from our books to the rest of the school in our final assembly, when we celebrate our time at Primary School and look forward to moving on to Secondary.
In Year 6 we enjoyed sewing pictures. We learned lots of different embroidery stitches, then designed and made pictures using felt.
